It was with great pleasure I published the Ofsted Inspection Report for the school in its latest Ofsted Inspection on the 8th and 9th January 2019. The result of the Inspection as an Outstanding school in all categories reflects the hard work of all the staff, pupils, parents and Governors to ensure with great determination that as a learning community the school provides the very best learning experiences. The report reflects that staff and pupils at all levels have ensured that every aspect of the school under the categories reported have targeted these improvements. The children, parents and Governors have all played a part in ensuring these improvements are embedded. Congratulations to everyone for this fantastic achievement!

Whilst we are thrilled to have achieved the recognition for all the hard work and perseverance of everyone involved, the school will not be complacent about the need to continue to develop and improve its educational provision to the children and parents.

Ms J Maltwood - Head Teacher

Our Chair of Governors would like to share the following message to everyone:

The Governors of South Grove are immensely proud of the work and achievements of the staff and children at South Grove.  It is fantastic to have what we already knew confirmed by our recent Ofsted inspection.  As you will have read in the report, all aspects of the school’s work were highly praised by the inspectors.  We would like to express our appreciation for the tireless work and dedication of Ms Maltwood and all the staff at South Grove in providing the best possible education for all the children at the school.  We would also like to thank all the parents and families for the support given to the school and their children’s learning.  Last, but not least, we thank all the children; for their hard work, love of learning, exemplary behaviour and kindness towards children and adults alike. We look forward to supporting the school in continuing to go from strength to strength.
