Gallery: 2K Pirate Day Assembly February 2018

Aaarghh me heartys! Yes, we were all immersed in Year 2A’s Pirate assembly on Friday the 2nd of February, (or at least we think it was 2A!). We were awash with pirates who gave us a fantastic insight into life as a pirate and what they did. The children delivered a fun filled assembly with pirate shanties, dance and drama. We watched fabulous videos of our pesky pirates working in their classrooms to create the detailed treasure maps and model ships.

The music and songs were brilliant, so thank you to Miss Matthews for her support in the assembly and support staff Mrs Patel and Miss Kotecha. Thanks must of course go to Mr Allard for coordinating the packed assembly and heading up our crew of pirates. Well done everyone!

We celebrated the children of 2F who were also joining in their pirate day with fabulous costumes. Thank you to all parents for providing the children with their costumes and making their day very special.

Thank you to our large 2A audience that attended and the kind comments left in our assembly comment book. We know the children and staff really appreciate your support:

‘Aaargh me heartys! Fantastic assembly 2A. Well done all!’

‘It was very nice. I really enjoyed it. Well done!’

‘Amazing assembly, fantastic costumes and brilliant videos!’

‘Lovely assembly, great acting!’
