Helping Plant 200,000 trees in Africa

Written on: Tuesday 06 December 2016

Our school Christmas tree has been provided once again by The Christmas Forest, who opened their shop at the Lee Valley Ice Rink on November 27th.  They are selling a fabulous selection of sustainably grown, freshly cut Christmas trees all handpicked for their quality. There will be five different varieties and a huge range of sizes all displayed in a forest-like setting.  Holly, wreaths, mistletoe and treats for the kids too.

For every tree sold, they donate to plant  a tree in the African drylands through Tree Aid (treeeaid.org.uk)

176,839  trees have been planted to date, changing lives for thousands of some of the poorest families in the world.  This year they are aiming to reach their goal of planting 200,000.

Come and wander through and pick your perfect Christmas tree and enjoy an extra festive glow knowing your trees means something more, not just Christmas.

Prices start at £18.  Parking and delivery available.  Or you can buy your tree online and have it delivered to your door-  christmasforest.co.uk
