Year4 watch Wheelchair Tennis Masters

Written on: Monday 07 December 2015

I had the Pleasure of taking some very lucky Year 4 children to the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

The children had the experience to participate and compete in small teams and play some tennis activities.

They had a once in a lifetime opportunity and be spectators to watch a GB Paralympics tennis legend, Gordon Reid, playing a match - whilst wearing a mask of him.  I’m sure he will never forget it (nor will his mother who was sitting next to us!).

The icing on the cake was watching Nayab play Tennis with Judy Murray, Andy Murray’s mum!
