Nativity 2017

Written on: Wednesday 20 December 2017

Well, we really did feel festive having seen the children’s nativity play! It was very evident that the children had such a great time dressing up in their character costumes and performing their very best in front of two very large audiences on Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. Each class sang great songs to help tell the story of the Nativity, with Year 2 showing their confidence with narrating and their acting skills. Well done to Reception for their first Nativity performance, they were great!

A very big thank you to Miss Matthews for putting all this together and working hard on the Makaton with all the songs. A great job!

We hope parents enjoyed it and by the look of the fabulous comments they wrote in our assembly book we think they did!

‘So much joy today! Wishing everyone a lovely Christmas and a very Happy New Year!’

‘Excellent performance. Staff at South Grove Primary School deserve the best. You guys are doing a great job.

Great audience. Wishing you all at South Grove a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Well done!’
