Mr Hayes

We are very sad to say goodbye to Mr Hayes, who has been with us at South Grove since May 2014. We understand he is moving on to pastures new and are very grateful for all his hard work and commitment to the school. He started work here as a Teaching Assistant working within Upper Key Stage 2 supporting teaching staff and the children to achieve their very best and also taking morning and after school clubs.

For the last two years he has been a PE and Sports Coach, covering teachers’ PPA Cover and taking children’s PE lessons and providing before and after school clubs for the children. He has helped Miss Young with the strong delivery of PE and Sports across the school, developing South Grove’s reputation as a strong competitive and participating school across the Local Authority. We will miss him and thank him for all his commitment to the school. Good luck Mr Hayes!

Ms Goddard

As you know our SENCo Annie Goddard went on maternity leave last May with an early surprise in her daughter being born slightly earlier than anticipated! Annie has had an amazing maternity spending time with her daughter and feels right now this is what she wants to do. She and her husband will be shortly relocating with his work and therefore has made the very difficult decision that she will not be returning after her maternity leave is due to finish. I know that you would want me to thank her for all her hard work and commitment to inclusion within the school and wish her all the very best for the future.
