ASSEMBLY: 1B Stories of the Past – Myths and Legends

Written on: Thursday 09 May 2019

1B had a fabulous time showcasing their amazing work that they did during the Spring Term.  They really enjoyed working on three key stories during the term – George and the Dragon, King Arthur and Jack and the Beanstalk. The children proudly shared through photographs their comics of King Arthur and the addition of speech bubbles. These were brilliant! Their song ‘There was a princess long ago’ was great with actions added to this. They shared the hero papier mache masks that they designed with their explanations of who their characters were. The children were proud to share their fabulous Castle Research Projects. These were amazing and showed how much they enjoyed working with their parents to make them. The play script of Jack and the Beanstalk was brilliant, particularly as the children had written them themselves, and brilliantly acted!

Well done to Ms Baruch and the children of 1B. Our well attended parental audience were very proud! Here is what they had to say:

‘So much amazing work! Congratulations 1B.’

‘Good job 1B!! Lovely assembly!’

‘What a fabulous assembly – you all looked like you had a great fun!! Well done!’

‘Well done! Such a brilliant assembly!’
