Whole School Assembly – A Right Roman Invasion!

Written on: Wednesday 11 December 2019

PLM and staff (Well, we think it was PLM…) treated their audience to the story of Romulus and Remus. In stunning costumes, the children really got into character and delivered the story really well, remembering their cues, words and actions.

It was wonderful to see how confident the children are becoming in taking part in whole school assemblies and those developing confidence to speak and get up on stage to take part.

Their Roman dance was fantastic with actions to describe the song. A fashion show at the end was a real must to see their brilliant costumes.

Well done to all the staff for supporting the children to perform so well. It was evident how much everyone enjoyed themselves!

Here is what they had to say:

The assembly was fantastic and it was amazing to see how involved everyone was.’

‘Awesome assembly….well done PLM and staff!’

‘Brilliant assembly, well done all! Very funny and very entertaining.’

‘Fantastic assembly. All roads lead to ….PLM!
