Year 6 Kids Cup Football Festival- Friday 26th November
To our amazement, after battling a tube strike, we arrived at the Feel Good Too Centre early. Whenever UKS2 seem to play a football tournament, the weather is always against us. This time around, we battled all four seasons in one morning. It started with rain and extreme cold, turning to wind and rain, a brief appearance from the sun and then followed by the cold wind again. The photos show a wonderful rainbow.
We were drawn in a group with Riverley, Alderbrook and Laurston (Hackney). Sadly, we didn’t managed to win any of our games as the boys unknowingly put a lot of pressure on themselves. However, when we played a friendly, we annihilated the opposition.
Well done to all the boys involved. A special mention to Marvin, our voted on captain, for scoring an amazing goal and to Mustafa for being a superb goalie.
