KS2 Quadkids Athletics

On Thursday 6^th June, our largest team of thirty-two children left South Grove and headed to the Feel Good Centre. It turned out to be a glorious day and perfect weather for the children to compete in.

Determined and enthusiastic, the children split into their year group teams, grabbed their numbered stickers and disappeared across the athletics field. Because of the extent of the event it’s very difficult to get everyone’s individual results. However, below are some of them:

The children took part in a long distance run, a sprint, a vortex throw and a long jump. Each child’s individual score was added together to get the team score. We now have to wait for our results as today was the second day of Quadkids competitions and there’s still another 3 days to go.
