Rights Respecting; Going for GOLD
As many of you will be aware, since 2016 we have been on a journey to embed the rights of children (as stated in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child or UNCRC) into the very fabric of South Grove, so that children’s rights are respected and upheld by every member of our school community. We have been working with UNICEF UK to ensure that our school is a safe and inspiring place to learn, where children are respected, their talents are nurtured and they are able to thrive. Our Rights Respecting Schools approach embeds these values in daily school life and gives children the best chance to lead happy, healthy lives and to be responsible, active citizens. We combine this with the Sustainable Development Goals to see the big picture and enable the children to have a strong global perspective.
